BOARD

4-3-1. Checking the CPU

Check the CPU in the following order:
1. ROM CHECK
2. RAM CHECK
3. DPRAM CHECK
4. SIO CHECK

2 To enable the SIO check of the SX-M700/M100 to be
performed, short pins 1 and 2, and pins 3 and 4 of
CN1.
3 Turn on the main power, or press the RESET switch.
4 Perform the above steps 1 through 4. The
corresponding LEDs from D2 to D4 turn on. If an error
occurs, the bit blinks. If no errors occur, LEDs D2 to
D9 turn on.

4-3-2. Checking the Keys and LEDs

2 Connect a *IPU which is known to be good.
3 Turn on the main power.
4 Each time a key on the display panel is pressed, the
LED toggles between lit and blinking. If the SLOW
button of the IPU is pressed, three LEDs turn on.

2 Set bit 1 and bit 2 to check the corresponding line 1 to
4.

3 Connect the *D/C units which are known to be good to
the selected line.
4 Turn on the main power.
5 LED D2 to D5 lights corresponding to lines 1 to 4. If
an error occurs, the LED blinks.
*D/C units : Delegate and Chairman's Units
