SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC FREQUENCY DRIVE
Problem
Display on Frequency
drive does not light up
Display on Frequency
drive lights up but fan
not does run.
Frequency drive starts
faults when fan starts.

Cause
No power to control box
Loose wires
Check fuses to make sure they are good
Check to make sure load switch is turned to on.
Frequency drive failure
No start command given
Loose wire
Stop signal from fire protection system.
Reset from fault
Power Loss
USF Line Supply Under Voltage
OSF Line Supply Over Voltage

TROUBLESHOOTING

Resolution
Use voltage meter on AC setting to
determine if there is incoming power.
Measure across L1/L2, L2/L3, L1/L3.
All readings should be within a couple
of volts.
Check for loose wires along path at
locations where readings change.
Replace if necessary
Turn to ON position
Consult factory
Turn Fan control switch off and then
back on.
Check for loose wires at frequency
drive and switch.
Check for loose jumper wire between
terminals 1 and 11 on frequency
drive.
If fan is wired to shut off with fire
protection system, verify that fan is
not getting signal to shut down from
fire protection system. Test this by
installing jumper wire between
terminals 1 and 11 and turning fan
control switch off and then on. If fan
starts, check the fire protection
system.
Turn fan load switch off. Wait for 30
seconds, and then turn back on. Turn
fan control switch off and then back
on.
Monitor incoming lines for low power
or power up to a fault code or
interruption.
Monitor incoming power lines for low
power or power interruption.
Power down completely and restart
Monitor incoming power lines for high
line voltage or transient conditions.
Install step down transformer if
voltage is high. Activate A092 / A093
