If there is a total control and switch panel failure, the charger unit can no
longer be operated. There is an "Emergency plug" for these situations. It is
connected to the charger unit with a cable tie on the connection plug of the
control and switch panel.
Carefully remove the emergency plug from the cable (e.g. cut cable ties
with wire cutters).
Disconnect both connection plugs DT220 B on the charger unit EBL ... .
Connect emergency plug to the two free sockets on the charger unit EBL.
This switches on all supply voltages.

Possible cause
Step extended when
engine is running.
Operating fault (false
alarm) caused by defec-
tive sensor or D+ signal is
missing:
Step retracted when
engine is running.
One of the gas cylinders is
empty.
Both gas cylinders are
empty.
Remedy
Retract the step.
Only occur with an operat-
ing fault:
Press "Main menu"
button.
Press the "Set up"
menu button and keep
it held down for at least
3 s.

Continually press the
"Set up" menu button
with the engine run-
ning until the page
where the buzzer can
be switched off is dis-
played.
Press "--" button.

The warning will be

The acoustic warning
signal must be switched
off after every engine start,
until the malfunction has
been rectified.
