Proper use
The appliance is a special vacuum for
indoor shooting ranges. The appliance
is suited to vacuum burned propellant
for shooting activities with a content of
unburned propellant residue of 5 to
10%, as is generated during normal
shooting activity.
No explosives or mixed components
must be vacuumed, which may cause a
hazardous reaction with water.
The propellant volume collected during
a cleaning procedure in the entire vacu-
umed dirt must not exceed approx. 50
g.
A person skilled in the explosives law
who must be made responsible for the
use of the vacuum cleaner in the indoor
shooting ranges. This person must is-
sue written work instructions for the op-
erating personnel, which should list the
regular cleaning procedure for the in-
door shooting range; this should be
done in a way that the indicated max.
volume of 50 g of propellant is not ex-
ceeded during the shooting.
The operating personnel must be
trained about the possible hazards
when dealing with propellants.
The appliance is suitable for vacuuming
dry, flammable, health-hazardous dusts
on machines and units in zone 22 dust
class M and B1 as per
EN 60 335–2–69.
Restriction: No carcinogenic substance
except wood dust may be sucked in.
This appliance is suitable for commer-
cial use.
Symbols on the machine
Do not suck in any ignition
sources! Suitable for suction
of combustible dusts of the
dust explosion classes in
Zone 22.
