BEFORE USING THE UNIT

STARTING THE UNIT

Starting/switching off the
engine

Cleaning the filter and
emptying the debris
container
User Instructions
Check oil level in engine (see Chapter: Maintenance).
Check fuel level in tank.
Clean filter with shaker mechanism.
Empty debris container.
Pull out choke on instrument panel.
Start motor with pull-start rope
To turn motor off, press motor stop button
Note: If when opening the cover the motor does not stop
automatically, press the motor stop button on the instrument panel
and call Customer Service.
over dry surfaces
Release parking brake!
Lower outrigger broom. (A)
Pull lever for driving forward. (B)
If lever is released, unit is halted.
To sweep up larger objects (drink cans), push down on the
handle so that the front of the unit is raised.
over wet surfaces
Sweeping procedure is same as for dry surfaces, but in
addition, container locking mechanism should be released.
Container is opened by approx. 8 cm.
Stop unit, and switch engine OFF.
Push handle of filter cleaning mechanism
back and forth several times.
Release catch, and withdraw debris
container.
Empty debris container, and replace.
Lock catch in position.
