Can't access the Web GUI
Ensure the computer is connected to the EMG6726 as previously described.

If using DHCP, the Web GUI access IP will be the same as your computer's Gateway
Address (default: 192.168.1.1).
•
Try clearing your computer's browser cache to remove any cached info from other
routers or devices.

Try using a computer command prompt or app to ping the devices' access IP
address.
•
Try using an alternate form of administration, such as:
Telnet (default port: 23 with a Telnet client like puTTY)
•
SSH (default port: 22 with an SSH client like puTTY)
•
•
HTTPS/ SSL (default port: 443 with a standard web browser)
•
If you cannot access the router through the Web GUI, you can hold in the hardware
reset button on the back of the unit for ~10 seconds (until the Power LED starts
blinking) to reset the unit back to factory defaults.
