Different services will require different VLAN settings in order to properly
operate.
To apply VLAN settings, make sure to select the Enable radio button, select

the proper 802.1p tag, and enter the proper 802.1q VLAN tag appropriate
for the service utilizing the interface (data, IPTV, etc.)
You can also change the MTU size if necessary, although this is commonly
•
left at the default MTU size of 1500, or 1492 in the case of PPPoE
encapsulation.
