Introduction:
Many VW Group Owners are looking for an easy an effective way of
connecting and listening to their portable audio devices on the
factory radio. Connecting an Auxiliary adapter to most VW Group
usually requires disconnecting the factory
or SiriusXM options. The PXDXVW2 works on the CD Changer
port of select 1998-08 VW Single DIN Radios and Audi Concert &
Symphony Radios that are
NOT pre-wired for the CD Changer.
(Single DIN Radios are 2" tall)
Installation:
1.
Remove radio from the dashboard to gain access to the
connectors.
2.
Pair of special removal tools (See Fig. 1) is required to
remove these Radios. (Symphony radios requires 2 pairs)

To remove slide tools into the Radio slots to second
detent position. Withdraw the radio by pulling outwards.
With radio removed disconnect the factory 20-way solid

Align and mate the blue plug from Adapter harness (See
Fig. 4) with Green plug on the optional AA3-HAR harness
(See Fig. 3). The final plug should resemble that of Fig. 5.
