rate of 35 L/min according to DIN 58 639). The operating period can be

and meet the requirements of EC Council Directive PPE (89/686/EC).
The Notified Body EXAM BBG Prüf- und Zertifizier GmbH

conducted EC type examination and is involved in
Dräger Safety AG & Co. KGaA Quality Management System control.

Intended Use

Oxy K 30 HW/HS is intended for emergency escape from areas filled with
smoke or toxic gases or lacking oxygen.
Restriction:
Oxy K 30 HW/HS is only suitable for use in the temperature classes
T1, T2, T3 and T4.
CAUTION:
Due to the possible presence of oxygen in the hood, the user must
avoid direct contact to flames or sparks when carrying the
Oxy K 30 HW/HS. The presence of oxygen in the hood increases fire
hazards, which can result in serious injuries or even death.
If the emergency exit is completely blocked by flames and sparks,
direct contact can to a large extent be avoided by covering the hood
with ones own body.
