Important remarks

• Removing and inserting the memory module must be carried out when the interface is switched off otherwise the memory content could become
corrupt
• If the memory module isn't present or hasn't been formated for the S500 series, the interface will indicate the error by the red led L1 flashing quickly
5 times, repeating the sequence repeatedly and blocking the operation of the system. To reset correct operation, format the memory module by
simultaneously holding down the P1 and P2 buttons for 5 seconds.
Attention: formatting will wipe all codes present in the memory module.
• If the multiprotocoll interface is set to the STANDARD operation mode with CONFIRMATION enabled the S500 transmitter must have already been
memorised otherwise the output protocoll will not be transmitted. See paragraph 9, page ??.
1. Deleting the entire code memory content
- Press and hold down the P1 and P2 buttons for more than 4 seconds on the interface.
- The buzzer B1 will beep.
- The led L1 will remain lit for the entire duration of the deletion, which lasts for about 3 seconds.
- The led L1 will flash for a few moments and then switch off and the buzzer B1 will beep.
- Release the buttons. End of operation.
Note: this procedure will also cancel any memorised DKS codes.
2. Memorising a channel code
- Move the transmitter near to the interface.
- Press and hold down the P1 button on the interface, the Led L1 will flash slowly and the buzzer will beep.
- Press the button (channel) you wish to memorize on the transmitter.
- The led L1 on the receiver will flash rapidly.
- Press the button (channel) you wish to memorize on the transmitter a second time. The Led L1 on the interface will glow continuously and the buzzer will beep
twice. After a few moments led L1 will switch off.
- Release the P1 button. End of operation.
Note: if the memory is full the interface will beep ten times.
