INSTALLING THE MULTIPROTOCOL INTERFACE IP55 (fig. 3)
The interface site must be a position safe from accidental collision and in a position which the technician can easily reach. Open the four fastening holes as shown
in the drawing using a screwdriver of similar tool. Trace the four wall fastening points using the container as a template and then drill the holes (det. 3-4). Fasten the
container using four self-tapping screws M4,8 (det. 5). Once the container has been fastened insert the screw covers. remove the cable clamp covers and affix the two
cable clamps as shown in detail 6. The interface is fitted with an 11-way terminal board and has a 12/24V ac-dc electical connection between binding posts 1 and 2.

Interface electrical connection (fig. 4)
The receivers must only be powered by a safety power pack. The use of non-safety power packs could provoke damage to the system.
12V ac/dc between binding posts 1-2 with jumper "J6" in position "2"; 24V ac/dc between binding posts 1-2 with jumper "J6" in position "1".
If the distance between the interface and the keypad/transponder is greater than 100 m, you are advised to use a 24 Vac/dc power supply.
Connecting the DKS devices
According to the distance between the interface and the keypad / transponder run the cable carrying the power to the keypad and the serial line data.
Connect the cables of the DKS250T-L keypad: FS1 black to binding post "4"; FS2 red to binding post "3" on the interface (see fig. 6b).
Connect the wires of the DKSTPT transponder and the DKSDUALT keypad:
