b) Weather station

1. Remove the battery compartment door by loosening the
screw.
2. Insert one CR2032 button cell battery. The positive (+) ter-
minal must face outwards.
3. Close the battery compartment and tighten the screw.
If no display appears after the battery is inserted, press the RESET button on the weather station.
It is possible that the time signal cannot be received immediately due to atmospheric interference.
The battery only serves as an emergency power supply. If you replace the battery, the AC adapter must be
connected, otherwise all settings will be lost.

10. Installation

a) Choosing a location

When choosing a location for the outdoor sensor, please observe the following:
• The outdoor sensor should be cleaned at least once a year. Make sure that the outdoor sensor is easily accessible
after mounting.
• Do not mount the outdoor sensor under or in the proximity of trees and bushes because dropping foliage may clog
the opening in the rain gauge.
• The outdoor sensor should not be installed near tall buildings. Proximity to high buildings leads to inaccurate
measurements.
• The distance between the outdoor sensor and the weather station may not exceed 150 m in the open (a direct line
of sight between transmitter/receiver).
The actual transmission range can be reduced due to the presence of walls, furniture, windows or plants between
the weather station and the outdoor sensor.
Proximity to other interference sources can strongly reduce the transmission range, e.g., electrical/electronic
devices, cables or metal parts. Reinforced concrete ceilings, metal-vaporised isolating glass windows or other
devices using the same frequency can also be a problem.
