Basic Method for Sending Faxes

This section describes the basic procedure for sending faxes.

Place documents.

Specify the destination.
These are the following methods to specify a destination.

Entering the fax number

When placing documents in the feeder
Document scanning is started. The fax is sent when the scanning is
finished.
When placing documents on the platen glass
Perform the following procedure.
(1) Press [
] or [
] to select the size of the original document,
and then press [OK].
(2) Press [
] (Start) for each document.
(3) When all documents are scanned completely, select <Start
Sending>, and then press [OK].
