Selective Restore allows
you to select certain
Compaq drivers or
applications you want to
reinstall without
reformatting your hard
drive.
1. Double-click the Compaq Help and Support icon on the
Windows Desktop. The Compaq Knowledge Center Web
page is displayed.
2. Click on Restore My Presario in the right column of the
screen.
3. Click on Item 2, Compaq Quick Restore. The Compaq
QuickRestore screen is displayed.
4. Move the mouse pointer over the icons on the left side of the
screen to find Selective Restore.
5. Click on the icon for the component you want to reinstall
from the list of icons provided. A message screen is
displayed, "Are you sure you want to restore this software?".
6. Click on Yes.
