2. Attach adjustment strips to the left and
right side of the cut-out in order to achieve
a width of 560 mm.
3. Seal the cut surfaces with a special var-
nish, silicone sealant or cast resin to pre-
vent swelling caused by moisture.

Installing the hob

NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
There is a risk of breakage if the ap-
pliance is placed on the glass ceramic
edge!
■ Do not place the appliance on the
glass ceramic edge.
1. Remove the appliance from the packag-
ing.
2. Remove all packaging parts and protec-
tive films.
3. Carefully place the appliance (residual
heat indicators at the front) in the center
of the worktop cut-out.

4. Fix the unit to the worktop with the en-
closed clamps (28) and screws (29) to
prevent slipping.

Installing the oven

NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
The door handle is not designed to bear
the weight of the appliance.
■ Do not lift the appliance by the door
handle. Use the carrying handles on
the sides.
The glass pane is not designed to bear
the weight of the appliance.
■ Do not set the appliance down on the
edge or corner of the appliance door!
The glass panes can be damaged.
