Cleaning the appliance

WARNING

Touching live parts may result

■ Before cleaning the appli-
ance, pull the mains plug
out of the socket.
■ Ensure that no water seeps
into the appliance.
■ Never immerse the applian-
ce in water or other liquids.
■ Only insert the mains plug
into the socket if all appli-
ance components are com-
pletely dry.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may cause it to beco-
me damaged.
■ Do not use any aggressive
cleaners, brushes with me-
tal or nylon bristles or sharp
or metallic cleaning utensils
such as knives, hard scra-
pers, etc. They could dama-
ge the surfaces.
1. Wipe
– the housing,
– the dust bag compartment (8),
– the inside of the air outlet and
the accessories
with a damp cloth as required.
Never allow liquid to penetrate
the vacuum.
2. Occasionally clean the air out-
let with a soft brush.

• Occasionally vacuum the un-
derside of the floor nozzle (16)
with the crevice nozzle (20b).
