unit (4) towards
– "max" to increase the suction
force.
– "min" to decrease the suction
force.
Use low suction force to remove
dust from curtains and drapes,
medium suction force to vacuum
carpets and upholstery, and high
suction force to clean flooring.

Air by-pass vent

You can adjust the suction force
as needed by using the air by-pass
vent (24). The covering of the air
by-pass vent can be adjusted as
desired.
Should you accidentally al-
low the vacuum cleaner to
come into contact with an object,
opening the air by-pass vent im-
mediately reduces the suction
force. This remedial action will pre-
vent such items from being drawn
into the dust bag.
