To ensure optimum dust extraction, pay attention that the punched holes in the sanding sheet match with the holes in the
sanding plate.
Selection of the Sanding Plate
Depending on the application, the machine can be equipped with sanding plates of different hardness:
Sanding plate, extra soft: Suitable for polishing and sensitive sanding, incl. on convex surfaces.
Soft sanding plate: Suitable for all sanding applications and general-purpose use.
Hard sanding plate: Suitable for high sanding capacity on flat surfaces.
Replacing the Sanding Plate
Note: Replace a damaged sanding plate immediately.
Pull off the sanding sheet or polishing tool. Completely unscrew the screw and take off the sanding plate. Attach the new
sanding plate and tighten the screw again.
Note: When attaching the sanding plate, pay attention that the toothing of the drive element engage into the
openings of the sanding plate.
Integrated Dust Extraction with Dust Box
Mount the dust box onto the extraction outlet. Turn the dust box in such a manner that its recesses face against the tips on
the extraction outlet and the dust box can be felt to engage.
The filling level of the dust box can easily be checked through the transparent container.
To empty the dust box, pull it off toward the rear with a slight twisting motion.
Screw the filter element on and pull it out of the dust box.
Empty the dust box.
To loosen the dust, gently strike or tap the filter element against a firm surface. Clean the lamellas of the filter element with a
soft brush.
Note: To ensure optimum dust extraction, empty the dust box in good time and clean the filter element at regular
intervals.
When working vertical surfaces, hold the power tool in such a manner that the dust box faces downward.
Auxiliary Handle
The auxiliary handle enables convenient handling and optimal distribution of power, especially at high removal rates.
Fasten the auxiliary handle with screw to the casing.

Operation

Switching On and Off
To start the machine, press the On/Off switch.
To lock the On/Off switch, keep it pressed and additionally push the lock-on button.
To switch off the machine, release the On/Off switch. When the On/Off switch is locked, press it first and then release it.
To save energy, only switch the power tool on when using it.
Preselecting the Orbital Stroke Rate
With the thumb-wheel for pre-selection of the orbital stroke rate, you can preselect the required orbital stroke rate, even
during operation.
1-2: Low Stroke Rate
3-4: Medium Stroke Rate
5-6: High Stroke Rate
The required stroke rate depends on the material and the working conditions and can be determined through practical
testing.
After longer periods of working at low stroke rate, allow the machine to cool down by running it for approx. 3minutes at
