    Windows Installation Follow the instructions below to install the Industrial USB to 422/485 Serial Adapter drivers. Windows 8 (32-/64-bit) / Windows 7 (32-/ 64-bit) / Server 2008 R2 Insert the driver CD. At the AutoPlay box, click Open folder to view files, then double click Setup file.

    Windows Vista (32-/64-bit) Insert the driver CD, at the prompted driver window, double click Setup file. At the User Account Control, click Allow. Double click Setup file, then click Allow again. Plug the adapter into the computer, click Cancel at the Found New Hardware (if prompted).
  • Page 8 To Verify Windows Installation Go to Device Manager to verify installation. For Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Windows XP / Server 2003 & 2008 R2: Right click Computer or My Computer, click Manage, then click Device Manager. For Windows Vista: Right click Computer, click Manage, click Continue, then click Device Manager.
  • Page 9 RS-422/485 Mode Setting Follow the instructions below to set up the output mode for each port. Open the driver CD, then select folder USB Serial Converter Set. Double click USB Serial Converter Set file. Then the following window will prompt up.
