Preparation For Use
Before using the test instrument, check the meter with a functioning circuit or component. If
the test instrument fails to perform as expected, refer to the following troubleshooting list until
the problem is solved:
1. Plug the test leads completely into the input terminals.
2. Remove corrosion from the lead tips and connectors.
3. Replace the battery.
4. Replace the test leads.
5. Send the test instrument in for repair. See the Warranty section of this manual for shipping
instructions.
