Causes / Solutions
Registration of your machine has been deleted from
ScanNCutCanvas. Register the machine again.
Select the same connection method as that selected on the
machine.
For details on selecting the same connection method as
that on the machine, see "CONNECTING THE MACHINE
AND COMPUTER" on page 12.
Check the following.
- The machine must be turned on.
- The USB cable must be correctly plugged in.
The selected photo cannot be used.
Select an image photographed under the specified
conditions.
The file may be corrupted.
Select a different image file.
Make sure enough space is available on the device.
The calibration data cannot be registered.
The calibration sheet was photographed too close.
Select an image photographed under the specified

Possible Cause 1: There is a reflection on the mat
scanning marks (dots) in the part of the mat that is inserted,
causing the marks not to appear in the photo.
Solution 1: Take the photo so there is no reflection.
Possible Cause 2: An object outside of the mat appears in
the photo.
Solution 2: Take the photo so no objects appear outside of
the mat.
Possible Cause 3: The dotted marks on the part of the mat
that is inserted are dirty.
Solution 3: Clean the mat scanning marks (dots) and their
surrounding areas. If the mat is still not recognized, replace
it with a new one.
The mat is at an angle.
Hold the camera level when taking the photo.
