This section explains software operations for using the AXR4 with a computer.
Yamaha Steinberg Thunderbolt
Driver
Yamaha Steinberg Thunderbolt Driver is a
software program that allows communication
between the AXR4T and a computer.
In Control Panel, you can configure the basic
settings for the audio driver.
How to Open the Window
Windows
• From the start menu, select [Yamaha
Steinberg Thunderbolt Driver] [Control
Panel].
• From the Cubase series menu, select
[Studio] [Studio Setup] [Yamaha
Steinberg Thunderbolt] [Control Panel].
Click the upper tabs to select the desired
window.
Mac
• Select [Application] [Yamaha Steinberg
Thunderbolt Control Panel]
• From the Cubase series menu, select
[Studio] [Studio Setup] [Yamaha
Steinberg Thunderbolt] or [Yamaha
Steinberg Thunderbolt (High Precision)]
[Control Panel] [Open Config App]
AXR4 Window
For selecting the AXR4T settings.

1 Device selection tabs
Used to switch to the AXR4T which you
want to configure settings for in the Control
Panel when multiple AXR4Ts are
connected together in a stack.
2 Sample Rate
Used to change the AXR4T device sample
rate

14).
On Mac, you can also change the sample rate in
"Applications" "Utilities" "Audio MIDI Settings"
3 Clock Source
Used to set the AXR4T device clock
source
