GAS CONNECTION

Note :
A means of isolation must be provided near to the appliance to facilitate
servicing.
Ensure that the gas supply is turned off before commencing.
The gas connection should be made to the appliance inlet elbow using 8 mm rigid
tubing. The gas connection can be made left hand, right hand or rear. In line with
current installation regulations, a restrictor should be fitted to the inlet pipework to
isolate the appliance for servicing and repair purposes.
Before making the final gas connection, thoroughly purge the gas supply
pipe work to remove all foreign matter, otherwise serious damage may be
caused to the gas control valve on the fire.
2.4
FITTING THE FUELBED
a)
Fit the rear fuelbed section to the combustion chamber, locating behind
the support bracket as indicated below in fig. 4

Fit the front section of the fuelbed to the combustion chamber, locating
behind the front casting as shown overpage in fig. 5
