Configuraon of Output 1 for Electric Lock
There are two types of electric door locks on the market. They are Fail-Secure and Fail-Safe. It is
necessary to select the right one for your applicaon environment. The keypad has been designed
compable with both types of lock with an appropriate code of the type of lock.
Programming Codes for Type of Locks:
-- Fail-Secure Electric Lock ---
-- Fail-Safe Electric Lock
Important Note to Installer:
It is necessary to confirm that the lock is Fail-Secure or Fail-Safe before seng the type of lock for it.
Wrong seng a Fail-Secure electric lock to normally energized operaon may cause damage to the
lock or even the keypad; because the Fail-Secure electric lock usually takes high current and is not
suitable for normally energized operaon.
