Preparing for Measurement

2.1 Measurement Process

Before using the instrument, be sure to read "Operating
Precautions" (p. 7 ).
Setting up, connecting, and turning on the instrument
Turn on the instrument (p. 2 2)
Inspect the instrument (p. 2 3)
Turn on the instrument (p. 2 4)
Connect voltage sensors (p. 2 5)
Performing measurement
Measure the circuit (p. 2 9)
• Measuring line voltages in a 3-phase circuit (p. 3 0)
• Checking phase order in a 3-phase circuit (phase detection) (p. 3 2)
• Measuring the frequency (p. 3 3)
Hold measured values and phase
order detection results (p. 4 2)
Finishing using the instrument
