If you encounter an issue with the instrument and believe it may be
malfunctioning, review the information provided in "Before having
the instrument repaired" below. If unable to resolve the issue,
contact your authorized Hioki distributor or reseller.

What to check
Have batteries been
properly installed in
the instrument?
Are the batteries
dead?
Have the voltage
sensors been properly
attached to the
measurement targets
(wires)?
Have multiple
voltage sensors been
attached to the same
measurement target
(wire)?
Solution
Check the type of
battery in use and
the orientation in
which they have
been installed.
Replace the spent
batteries with new
batteries.
Check how the
voltage sensors
have been
attached to the
wires.
Attach each
voltage sensor to
only one wire.
