Replace Pilot Valves

1. Stop the pump. Follow the Pressure Relief Proce-
dure, page 12.
2. Disconnect the pneumatic line to the motor.
3. Loosen the screw (16) and remove the tie rod
shield (15).

4. Slide the drip shield (4) down on the tie rods (3).

5. Use a 10 mm socket wrench to remove the old pilot
valves (219) from the top (213) and bottom (201)
covers. See the figure on page 32.
6. Lubricate and install the new pilot valves (219).
Torque to 95-105 in-lb (11-12 N•m).
7. Slide the drip shield (4) to the top of the tie rods (3)
and replace the tie rod shield (15).
8. Reconnect the pneumatic line to the motor.
