This applies, in particular, for persons who only operate and/or work on the unit occasionally (e.g. for maintenance and repair). This reduces the sewing speed for a few stitches to help the material feed to the puller before the machine goes to high speed. The stitch count equals twice the number shown on the thumbwheel.
