Application
This section explains how to configure the Network Camera to react in response to particular
situations� A typical application is that when a motion is detected, the Network Camera sends
buffered images to a FTP server or via e-mail as notifications�
In the illustration above, an event can be triggered by many sources, such as motion detection or
external digital input devices� When an event is triggered, you can specify what kind of action will
be performed� You can configure the Network Camera to send snapshots or videos to your email
address or FTP site�
To start plotting an event, it is suggested to configure server and media columns first so that the
Network Camera will know what action shall be performed when a trigger is activated�
Media Settings
In the Media column, click Add to open the media setting page� In this page, you can specify what
kind of media to send when a trigger is activated� A total of five media settings can be configured�
Enter a descriptive name for the media setting�
