Windows 2003 (Set Dr. Watson)
Dr. Watson of Windows Server 2003 is a debugger for application errors. When detecting an
application error, Dr. Watson diagnoses the NEC Express5800/ft series, and records the diagnostic
information (log). Take the following steps to collect diagnostic information:
1. Click [Run...] from [Start].
2. Enter "drwtsn32.exe" in the [Open] box, and
click [OK].
The [DR. Watson for Windows] dialog box
appears.
3. Specify where you want to save diagnostic
information in the [Log File Path] box.
Diagnostic information is saved under the file
name "DRWTSN32.LOG."
Do not specify a network path.
CHECK:
Be sure to specify a path on the local
computer.
4. Specify the crash dump file save destination in the [Crash Dump] box.
A "crash dump file" is a binary file that can be read by Windows Debugger.
