  • Page 7 WHAT ARE INFRARED RAYS? Infrared is the band of light we perceive as heat. We cannot see this band of light with the naked eye, but we can feel this type of light in the form of heat. Our sun produces most of its energy output in the infrared segment of the spectrum.
  • Page 8 HOW IT WORKS Infrared Saunas differ from traditional saunas in that they use infrared radiant energy to directly penetrate into the body's tissue to produce perspiration. Traditional saunas use steam to heat the air inside the sauna, which then heats your body until you begin to perspire.

  • Page 16 I. Power Supply (Control Box) The POWER SUPPLY BOX is the control center of the sauna room. It is installed on the ROOF PANEL and has input/outputs connected to it as seen below.   • Page 17 III. Buckles A. External Buckles The external buckles are used to connect the REAR WALL PANEL to the LEFT SIDE WALL PANEL and RIGHT SIDE WALL PANEL. The Metal Guide Insert Brackets connect the FRONT WALL PANEL to the LEFT SIDE WALL PANEL and RIGHT SIDE WALL PANEL. (see Figure 2 and 2a) Figure 2 Figure 2a...
  • Page 18 Figure 4 Front of Sauna Room Floor Panel with Optional Near Infrared Heater Outlets Understanding The Wall Panels The SIDE WALL PANELS will have 1 carbon heat emitter panel on each wall. There will be 2 or 3 carbon heat emitter panels on the REAR WALL PANEL depending on your model sauna. The REAR WALL PANEL and SIDE WALL PANELS will have heater cords coming from the top of each wall panel which will be connected on the roof once the ROOF PANEL is placed on top.

  • Page 20 Figure 8 Figure 9 Installing the REAR WALL PANEL Remove the protection paper/tape from the buckles on the REAR WALL PANEL if present. Place the REAR WALL PANEL up onto the FLOOR PANEL. Next, attach the REAR WALL PANEL to the LEFT SIDE WALL PANEL and use the buckles to latch together. Do the same for the RIGHT SIDE WALL PANEL.
  • Page 21 Figure 11 (Bench Designs Do Vary) F. Installing the NEAR Infrared Heaters First, you will need to locate the NEAR Infrared Heaters (if purchased as these are optional accessories). (see Figure 12) From the inside of the sauna room, one adult will need to place the NEAR Infrared Heater up and onto the stationary glass panel lining up the mounting holes.
  • Page 22 Be careful not to force the ROOF PANEL into place. Make sure that the wires are properly fed through the holes. Furthermore, make sure the ROOF PANEL sits snugly into the RIGHT SIDE WALL PANEL and RIGHT FRONT WALL PANEL. Pull down on the ROOF PANEL slightly to make sure it is secured in place.
  • Page 23 H. Installing the TEMPERATURE SENSOR and optional accessories (varies by model) Enter the sauna and remove the protective covering (masking tape) from the TEMPERATURE SENSOR. Situate the TEMPERATURE SENSOR so that it is vertical and pointing downward. (see Figure 17) Figure 17 Note: Some sauna models are shipped with a spare TEMPERATURE SENSOR in case the TEMPERATURE SENSOR is damaged during transit.
  • Page 24 Installing the CD/RADIO (optional) 1. Unscrew the lock screws on the top of CD/RADIO player. 2. Connect the plug from the CD/RADIO with the plug coming down from the roof. (see Figure 3. Connect the left and right speaker plugs. (see Figure 24 and 25) 4.

    Putting on the ROOF COVER (Optional) Place the ROOF COVER over the top of the sauna. Be cautious when pulling the power cord through the hole in the roof cover. Gently place the ROOF COVER onto the ROOF PANEL. When the edges are aligned, screw the ROOF COVER to the roof panel.   • Page 26 During your sauna session, set-up time will count down the minutes one by one. When the time remaining is 5 minutes, the buzzer will make a warning sound for approximately 15 seconds letting you know you only have 5 minutes remaining. At this point, you can let the time run out or adjust the time by pressing the up/down arrows under the TIME DISPLAY.

The switch allows you to turn the FAR Infrared Carbon Heater Panel and Near Infrared Heater Panel either ON or OFF.     Tips for using Your Sauna 1) If you take a hot/warm shower or bath before using your sauna, you may perspire more and experience more comfort. 2) Drink water prior to, during, and after your sauna session to replenish body fluids. 3) To regulate the set temperature inside the sauna to your comfort level, use the movable roof ventilation or leave the door open slightly.

    Troubleshooting Guide 1. No Heat Coming From Some Of The Heat Emitters Solution: Check to make sure all the heat emitter cords are properly connected, including the cord to the heat emitter underneath the bench (if applicable). Go to the roof, and also check that the heat emitter cords are properly connected to the cords on the roof and that those cords are properly plugged into the power supply.
  • Page 32 Solution: Check the wiring harnesses coming from the power supply located on the roof of the sauna. Make sure the wiring harness labeled “CTRL” is connected to the power supply at one end and connected to another wiring harness labeled “CTRL” at the other end. If this wiring harness is not properly connected, then the sauna will show signs of having no power.
