    Link So, hello! This manual provides commissioning information about eHome Link, which has been designed and tested to allow electric vehicle charging according to IEC 61851-1:2017. This document has different sections such as step-by-step installation procedure and technical data.

    Link Opening the Unit 1.- Remove the screw at the bottom of the box. 2.- Using a screwdriver, put it into the indicated marks, at the bottom of the box, and start removing the frame doing click at the bottom.

To make it easier help yourself with the screwdriver while pulling the frame off. 4.- Remove the six screws of the front part by using a screwdriver and take out the front part of the enclosure.

    Link Power Supply line and Data connection There are two possibilities to insert the electric wires: 1) Breaking out the cable insertion opening on the rear of the housing. 2) Using the cable insertion opening at the bottom of the housing.
  • Page 19 Link Be careful of not damaging any of the internal components when breaking out the rear cable insertion opening. The data cable could be installed using the same pipe used for the power supply. In this case, it is recommended to use FTP Cat5e or S/ FTP Cat 5e.

    Link Fixing 1.- Use a screwdriver to fix the Charge Point on the wall (recommended screw dimensions: 3x45mm). 2.- Use only the Charge Point holes indicated in the above picture to fix the Charge Point on the wall. Do not make any other holes on the housing; otherwise water can enter the Charge Point when it rains.

    The DC fault current is measured by a dedicated device installed in the eHome Link which ensures the disconnection of the supply in case of DC fault current above 6 mA, for this reason just a Type A RCD upstream the Charge Point is required.

    There is an onboard rotative Dip-Switch to configure the limit current of the unit. Depending on the position given to the Dip-Switch, the equipment will limit the current to a certain maximum amperage value.     Link Unique CirBEON (Optional) Unique CirBEON is an optional device that optimises the charge. Analysing the total current consumption in residential facilities, Unique CirBEON manages the remaining current for the Charge Point, avoiding any tripping on the Main Circuit.

    Link Remote Control Function Remote control function is a potential free contact which allows the remote start and stop of a charge process. This remote control function is disabled by default, by means of a jumper (as shown in the picture below).

    Link Data Modbus RS485 Connection Perform the Modbus RS485 data connection in the terminal shown in the picture below. Note: The Modbus RS485 provide the following terminals (A+, B-, S). Do not forget to connect the ground cable (S Terminal) and link to its corresponding earth terminal.

Put the frame, from the top to the bottom of the box, ensuring it does click at the six points shown in the picture, then screw the bold on the bottom.

    This protection will disconnect the Charge Point if the safety limit of 260 V is exceeded, in this case the Charge Point will reconnect automatically once the voltage is below 247 V. In the event of the company meter trips out, the eHome Link will automatically allow the reconnection of the grid supply.
