Names and Functions of Parts

The port replicator allows your peripheral devices to function exactly as if they were connected directly to
the computer. (Refer to "Description of Parts" in the "Operating Instructions" accompanying the computer.)
CAUTION
Do not touch the port replicator connector, pins or terminals of the port replicator.
Rear
USB 3.0 Ports:
These can be used only when
the AC adaptor is connected.
Security Lock: LOCK
A Kensington cable can be connected.
For more information, read the manual
that comes with the cable.
Front/Right Side
Port Replicator Connector
This connects to the
Expansion Bus Connector on
the bottom of the computer.
VGA Port:
Connect the external display compatible with analog
interface.
The HDMI2 port and VGA port cannot be used
simultaneously. If cables are connected to both the
HDMI2 and VGA ports, the VGA port will have priority.
LAN Port:
HDMI Ports:
Left: HDMI1 port
Right: HDMI2 port
Connector for HDMI compatible digital display.
It is not compatible with the analog display.
The display specifications of the maximum resolution, etc. that
can be output differ according to the specifications of the
device connected.
For details, refer to the specifications of the device connected.
The HDMI2 port and VGA port cannot be used simultaneously.
If cables are connected to both the HDMI2 and VGA ports, the
VGA port will have priority.

Slide the lever all the way
back to release the computer.
