Here we explain the part names and functions of the network interface unit.
Part names
ERROR LED
RUN LED
Connector: RJ45 modular jack
ERR0R LED
This LED indicates the EtherCAT communication error.
LED status
OFF
Red flashing
Red flashing twice
Red lit*
RUN LED
This LED indicates the status of the CoE (CANopen over EtherCAT) communication.
LED status
OFF
Green lit
Green flashing
Green flashing once
Red lit*
*: When the either of LED is lit in red, something critical is happening.
The bus interface becomes physically passive in this case.
Link/activity LED: Port 1 / Port 2
This LED indicates the link status and activity of EtherCAT.

CoE is in the "INIT" status (or power is OFF).
CoE is in the "OPERATIONAL" status.
CoE is in the "PRE-OPERATIONAL" status.
CoE is in the "SAFE-OPERATIONAL" status.
Crucial situation
A link is not established, and communication is not occurring.
An Ethernet link is established, but communication is not occurring.
