Troubleshooting of Remote I/O Stations

The troubleshooting procedures for the remote I/O stations are shown according to the LED status.
For troubleshooting of a remote device station, refer to the following.
User's manual for the remote device station used
6.4.1
Check the following.
The communication cable connected to the power supply is
incorrectly wired.
A communication cable is connected to the LINK connector
of the dedicated power supply or power supply adapter.
A 24VDC supply voltage is outside the specified range.

If the PW LED does not turn on even after the above actions are taken, the possible cause is a hardware failure.

The PW LED does not turn on

Check item
Check for short-circuit, reverse connection, disconnection, and excessive pressure.
Measure a voltage using check terminals on the terminating resistor.
Check terminal 24G

Connect the cable to the LINK/POWER connector.
Reduce the supply voltage within the specified range.
