Instructions for Installation and Care of Arctic Cat / Textron Prowler Pro

Be sure to read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing the windshield.
1. Check over the parts included in the cartons with the parts list shown below:
1 ¼" Stainless Bolts
1 3/4" Stainless Bolts
2" Stainless Bolts
Small Washers
Metal Brackets
Plastic Thumb Nuts
Lock Nuts
Nylon spacers
1 ¼" Black Spacer
Plastic Slide Fasteners
167" side Bulb Gasket
Small Polycarbonate piece
Vent Sliders
If any parts are damaged or missing please contact customer service at (606) 845-7439.
2. Start by pulling it out of the box; find a clean area to lay it down and install the hardware.Next take the
136" Side Bulb rubber gasket and starting at one end firmly place along the bottom edge of the
windshield.You will need to peel back the protective film from the edge to install the gasket. If you
leave the bulk of the protective film on while installing you can avoid scratching the windshield. Ensure
that the gasket is seated fully home on the along the edge to insure a good fit of the windshield.
3. Next take the two vent sliders and install then to the inside surface of the windshield. Start by installing
the handle first. Take the 2" bolt, black spacer and lock nut and install them into the round holes on the
sliders. Make sure that the bolts are installed on opposite sides of the sliders so that you have mirror
images of each other when done. The pictures on the next page show how to install the bolts.

- Page 2 4. Then place the sliders on the windshield so that the pointed ends are facing towards the outside edges. Place the plastic slide fasteners into the slots on the sliders and into the holes on the windshield to finish installation. See photo on the next page.
- Page 3 5. Before installing the windshield place the small polycarbonate piece on the inside of the windshield along the top center as shown in the photo below. This piece will hold the middle of the windshield against the frame.
