  • Page 14: Seat Adjustment

    Seat Adjustment Passenger seats have forward, aft and lateral adjustment with seat back recline. By pushing the armrest seat adjustment lever down, it is possible to adjust the seat position forward, aft or out from the wall. Pull Lever up to recline the seat back. Move seat away from wall before adjusting seat forward, aft or reclining seat back.
  • Page 15 Table Operation Pull table inboard. Lift table up. Rotate table down until it is at rest in down position. Unfold table leaf. Reverse steps 1 through 4 to stow table. Note: Return table to its stowed position during takeoffs and landings. See Passenger Briefing Card for complete instructions.

    Galley Master Control Switch Panel Hot Liquid Container Ice Chest Manual Overboard Drain Operation (for Ice Chest) The ice-chest drawer, located in the lower section of the galley, is equipped with a manual drain valve used to empty water from the ice chest. To open drain valve: Turn drain valve counterclockwise Open ice-chest drawer.

    Hot Liquid Container Removal Note: Make certain the switch for the hot liquid container is “Off” before attempting to remove the container from the galley. See Switch Panels for switch operation. A Prepco hot liquid container is located in the upper section of the galley. The hot liquid container holds one gallon and is easily removed for filling.

    Manual Window Shade Operation Cabin window shades open and close by sliding the shade handle forward and aft. On right-hand side of plane, slide lever forward to close and aft to open. On left-hand side of plane, slide lever forward to open and aft to close.

    Brace Positions Rear-Facing Seat Forward-Facing Seat Belted Toilet Seat Belts Note: Seat belts and shoulder harness must be fastened during takeoff and landings. It is recommended that seat belts remain fastened during flight. For comfort, the shoulder harness may be detached during flight.     Overhead Oxygen Mask Pull lanyard to start flow of oxygen. Should the airplane lose pressurization, an overhead oxygen mask will automatically drop over each passenger seat. Help children or other passengers with their masks only after your own mask is in place. Fire Extinguishers Two portable hand-held fire extinguishers are installed in the airplane.

    Life Vests Caution: Put life vest on prior to ditching, but do not inflate until outside of airplane. First Aid Kit A first aid kit is included as loose equipment and is provided for minor emergencies. Note: The First Aid Kit may be stored in many locations in the airplane.

    Emergency Locator Transmitter The emergency locator transmitter (ELT) unit is located in the aft tail cone equipment. The unit is self-contained and battery powered. An indicator light provides a visual indication of ELT operation. A switch mounted in the unit and a cockpit switch provides control of the ELT.
