Stopping the Engine

The
engine
stopped by turning the ignition switch
to the OFF position.
The
engine
emergency use only.
Do not leave the ignition switched on
with the engine stopped. Electrical
damage may result.

To stop the engine:
▼ Close the throttle completely.
▼ Select neutral.
▼ Turn the ignition switch to the OFF
position.
▼ Select first gear.
▼ Support the motorcycle on a firm,
level surface with the side stand.
▼ Lock the steering.

Starting the Engine
