Cleaning the air filter

A clogged air filter significantly reduces engine performance and causes engine
malfunction. In addition, it reduces engine life!
Remove the air filter cover by loosening the wing nut. Remove the air filter from the
machine.
The air filter consists of a foam element (pre-filter) and a paper filter.

Take out the oil plug / stick, wipe it off and put it in again.
Pick up the stick and read the oil level on the stick. The
level must be somewhere between min. and max. the
marking on the stick.
Carefully fill oil with a funnel as shown. Check the oil
level again as above. Reattach the plug with the
dipstick.
