4 Once loaded, the configuration parameters that can be modified displays.

Modifying some parameters before the acquisition

In SmartTEST mode, the user has access to 4 parameters which can modified before
launching the test.

The acquisition will be carried out on the selected
wavelength(s). The wavelengths depend on the module type
(e.g. DWDM wavelengths available on 4100 DWDM OTDR
Modules).
select the unit to be used for distance (km / kfeet / miles /
meter / feet / inch).
Define if the Launch Cable must be taken into account for the
acquisition: No / Yes.
If Yes is selected, set the length clicking on text box and:
enter the distance using the numeric keypad.
Click on to perform a measure-
ment of the launch cable: a dialog box
informing to connect the launch cable
displays. Press
connected to start the measurement.
