Configuring the test in Expert OTDR
Auto Store
Select Yes to store automatically the trace or traces resulting from each acquisition
according to the filenaming rules. If the filename already exists, the user will be
prompted to overwrite the "old" result or discard the current result and keep the "old" file
Select Confirm if alarm = Fail to display a confirmation dialog box if a value exceeds
alarm thresholds, and to be able to choose to save or not the trace.
If no alarm is detected on trace, it is automatically stored.
Report As
Select the report format to be generated:
txt file
pdf file
json file
If all parameters are defined with No, only the .sor (or .msor/.csor) file will be saved.
Report Layout
This parameter allows to define the report page setting and is available exclusively if a
pdf file has been defined in the Report As parameter.:
Standard
Consolidated
Report naming
If Consolidated is defined for Report Layout, select Report naming parameter and
click on the text box to modify the name of the report file for the result trace.
Using the onscreen keyboard, enter a name manually for the file and press
validate.
If no name is entered, the report name by defaut applies: Report_SM/MM-OTDR.
