Smartphone safety notice
Your smartphone is NOT a dedicated medical device.
To make sure you get sensor readings and alerts:
• Do NOT use a hacked (jailbroken or rooted)
smartphone because Dexcom ONE may not work
correctly.
• Bluetooth
app to communicate.
• Do NOT rely on Dexcom ONE until you
understand how to use it and your smartphone's
Bluetooth.
• Make sure your smartphone's speaker(s) and
screen work.
• When using Bluetooth or plug-in headphones,
speakers, etc., test your system to find out where
your alerts sound. They might sound on your
smartphone, on the headphones or speakers,
etc., or on both.
• The app uses your smartphone battery. Keep
your phone charged to get readings and alerts.
• If your smartphone or the Dexcom ONE app
closes or is not working, you will NOT get
readings or alerts. Occasionally check that the
app is open and Bluetooth is on.
