Step 5: Sensor warmup
After setup, your sensor needs time to adjust to your
body. This takes about 2 hours. Keep your receiver
within 6 meters of the transmitter.
You will NOT get sensor readings or alerts until
sensor warmup is complete.
If you did not turn on alerts during setup, turn
on alerts now to get alerts when sensor warmup is
complete.
Wait 2 hours
When sensor warmup is complete, you will get
sensor readings.
Step 6: Check receiver
settings
Dexcom ONE alerts will not override your
receiver settings .
• If your receiver is set to vibrate, you will not hear
high or low glucose alerts.
• To check your receiver sound settings: Go to
Menu > Settings > Alert Sounds.
• Turn on receiver sound to hear alerts.
Step 7: Turn on alerts
No glucose alerts unless you turn them on .
If you did not turn on alerts during set up, you can do
so at any time. In your receiver:
1. Go to Menu > Settings > Alerts.
2. Select the alert you want to set.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions.
4. Return to Menu > Settings > Alerts to set
another one.
