Troubleshooting/Alarm Codes

ANT AZ/EL, ANT POL

These alarm messages indicate that an error has been detected for the axis referenced in the

alarm message. When one of these alarms are detected, the axis is disabled. Go to RESET

mode (section 4.6) to view the actual fault condition which was detected and to clear the fault.

A Reset mode JAMMED indication may mean that the drive breaker is open.

The internal position count has been corrupted. Manually find a satellite which has previously

been stored in non-volatile memory, and go into FIX mode to update positions. See Section

4.8.

The azimuth and elevation slow speed codes have been corrupted. The slow speed codes are

entered via the Slo Speed CONFIG mode item. See Sections 4.9.3 and 3.5

Either the AutoPol Enable or AutoPol Vlevel CONFIG mode items have been corrupted. See

sections 2.6, 3.8, and 4.9.1.

This error (caused by an incorrect checksum) indicates that the value of at least one of the

following CONFIG mode items has been corrupted: Remote Enable, Baud (100s), or Comm

Address. Remote Enable is the controlling item for this group of CONFIG mode items - it must

be enabled to allow access to the Baud (100s) and Comm Address CONFIG mode items. See

section 4.9.2.

This error (caused by an incorrect checksum) indicates that the value of at least one of the

following CONFIG mode items has been corrupted: 24vdc ROT FEED, Feed CW Lim, or Feed

CCW Lm. The 24vdc ROT FEED item is the controlling item for this group of CONFIG mode

items - it must be set to YES to allow access to the other items. See sections 4.9.4 and 3.3.

This error (caused by an incorrect checksum) indicates that the value of at least one of the

following CONFIG mode items has been corrupted: Auto Move Cnfg, Fst/Slo Thrsh, Retry

Attempts, Fst Deadbnd, Slo Deadbnd, Azim Coast Thrsh, or Max Pos Error. The Auto Move

Cnfg CONFIG mode item is the controlling item for most members of this group of CONFIG

mode items - it must be enabled to allow access to the other items. See section 4.9.5.
