CONTROL-1500A Single Axis Antenna Controller
Here is the procedure for setting the limits.
1. Activate Limits Mode - Go to LIMITS mode. Section 2.2 describes Mode key operation. Hit
the ENTER key to advance beyond the prompt message. The user will then be prompted with
the following display.

2. Position Antenna at the CCW Limit - Use the Az CCW and Az CW keys to position the
controller at the desired CCW limit.
3. Set the CCW Limit – Hit the 7 key to set the CCW limit. When the limit is set the controller
will initialize the position count to 30 and prompt the user with the following screen ...

4. Position Antenna at the CW Limit - Use the Az CCW and Az CW keys to position the
controller at the desired CW limit.
5. Set the CW Limit – Hit the 7 key to set the CW limit. When the limit is set the controller will
transfer control to Config mode.

Note that if Limits mode is terminated by hitting the Mode key before both limits are set, the
limits which existed prior to this entry will be restored. If the unit powers down while LIMITS
mode is active, the limit information will be corrupt when the unit powers up.

SETUP Mode
Setup mode allows a user to store a satellite name, position, and horizontal and vertical
polarization presets into the controller's non-volatile memory. Once a satellite has been stored
in non-volatile memory, it may be recalled via Auto mode. Up to 50 satellites may be stored in
non-volatile memory (versions of the CONTROL-1500 prior to v1.5x supported 38 satellites).
