The search does not work without movement. Coins are better detected
when you point the fl at side towards the search ring. If something is found, a
tone sounds and the pointer moves to the left (iron) or right (non-iron). If the
detector fi nds nothing, check the batteries and fi ne-tune.

OUTDOOR TESTING AND USE

1. Switch POWER/VOLUME to 2/3.
2. Find an area outside where there is no metal.
3. Place a sample of the material you want to fi nd (such as a gold ring or coin)
on the surface.
4. Press and release the red button on the handle and turn the volume
control until the pointer is at 0.
5. Hold the search ring at a distance of 2.5-5 cm from the ground. Slowly
move the search ring in the direction of the placed sample. Slowly swing
the search ring from side to side.
