12. PLATFORM
The mower bottom must be cleaned after each use to prevent cuttings of grass, leaves, dirt or
other matter. If left to accumulate this waste, it will cause rust and corrosion and may interfere with
proper functioning.
1. WHY IS IMPROVEMENT NECESSARY?
Different climatic seasons throughout the year result in the storage of dead and dry grasses
and moss, leading to grass emergence. Roots cannot absorb nutrients, water and air in sufficient
quantities. The lawn is drying. The vertical section opens the soil, eliminates the choke points and
thus provides conditions for better nutrient supply.
2. WHEN TO USE THE MACHINE?
On grassy areas with strong chopping places, it is necessary to pass once. These works must
be carried out twice a year. The most appropriate is the period in spring, when the soil did not
freeze last summer until the end of September. Subsequent tillage should not be done so that the
grass can eventually be prepared for grass resistance in the harsh winter.
In any case, the discarded material must be removed from the grassland. These soil clearings
must be carried out twice a year. The most appropriate is the period in spring, when the soil is not
frozen and in late summer to late September. Later processing should not be done in order for the
grass to be prepared for resistance in the harsh winter. In any case, discarded material must be
removed from the lawn.
ATTENTION! If you hit a foreign object, stop the engine. Disconnect the power cord, carefully
inspect the aerator for possible damage, and repair the damage before restarting and operating
the aerator. The extensive vibration of the aerator during operation is an indication of failure
(especially cylinder and shaft). The aerator must be checked and repaired immediately. Contact an
authorized service center.
3. AERATION AND SCARIFICATION
We recommend aerating your lawn in spring and fall. In any case, do not ventilate during
the latency of the grass! To allow healthy lawns to grow in the spring, water, air and nutrient
absorption in the root area must be increased. To achieve good results and extend the life of the
drum spreader, the grass must be mowed before cultivation (shorter than 4 cm).
3.1. Position the machine at the beginning of the lawn near the power source. Move the cable
after each turn to the opposite side already marked.
3.2. Select working depths according to the grass condition (see "Adjusting working depth").
In the case of untreated very mossy grass, adjust the working depth setting
• When working on slopes, always position yourself perpendicular to the slope and make sure
they are safe. Do not be exposed on steep slopes.
• Empty the grass catch bag when it is full to prevent the blades from locking and then
overloading the engine.
Lawn mowing once more after working with the aerator.
Leave blank spots that may have developed after loosening.
Only sow the soil after fresh grass seeds have left their roots.

4. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

ATTENTION! In order to ensure the proper functioning of the machine, it must be checked and
adjusted by qualified personnel at an authorized service center at least once a year.
Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and hassle-free operation.
Failure to properly follow the maintenance instructions and precautions can result in serious
