4-5. Walk test
For the best performance, install the detector parallel to the ground.
First determine the intentional detection length, then make sure the detector is
installed parallel to the ground as shown below.
To change the intentional detection length, adjust the flap and the plate positions.
* This description assumes the detection length to be 0 m (0 ft.) to 24 m (80 ft.).
If the detection length is
shorter than the intentional,
change the detector angle
upwards.
If the detection length is enough to the
intentional, the adjustment is complete.
If the detection length is
longer than the intentional,
change the detector angle
downwards.

Loosen the screw to adjust camera angle
Angle can be adjusted with either left or right screw.

Check the image at the time of detection on the monitoring portal.

Check the detector is installed parallel to the ground, as shown

Walk around the detection area to make sure it is set as intended.

If necessary, turn LED OFF again.

Fix the cover with the cover lock screw.
Caution
For the walk test, walk at least 1.0 m (3' 3" ) away from the detector.
NOTE
Conduct a walk test at least once a year.
Settings on the InSight web

If the angle of the camera is adjusted up or down, the detection area display
of the detector on the screen will be different from the actual one.
Adjust the display on the web. See the IP camera manual.
Replace the back cover
