8.3 Management > Device Settings > Restore Default
Clicking the 'Restore Default Configuration 'button in the Management>Restore Settings screen will restore the
original factory default settings on your NB8WVPN.
Note 1:
This entry has the same effect as the hardware reset-to-default button on the rear of the NB8WVPN. The NB8WVPN hardware and
the boot loader support the reset to default button. If the reset button is continuously pushed for more than 5 seconds, the boot
loader will erase the entire configuration data saved on the flash memory.
Note 2:
Restoring system settings requires a system reboot. This necessitates that the current Web UI session be closed and restarted.
8.4 Management > Device Settings > Update Firmware
The 'Update Firmware' screen allows you to obtain an updated firmware image file from NetComm. Manual
software upgrades from a locally stored file can be uploaded using this screen by selecting a firmware file saved
to your hard-disk and clicking the 'Update Firmware' button.
