Record in a group
The group function
is a disc that has been set as a group,
and you can use the "group function".
This is a convenient function when
recording several CDs on a single disc in
MDLP (LP2 / LP4) mode, or when playing
back a disc recorded by collecting single CDs.
What is a grouped disk? It means that
multiple recorded songs are grouped
into several groups on one disc as shown
in the following figure.

To always record in a group when recording
This setting enables group recording by
simply pressing END SEARCH and moving
the REC knob to the right while the next
recording is stopped. This is convenient when
recording multiple CDs for each album in
succession, such as for MDLP recording . It
can be operated only on the main unit.
